Here follows instructions on how to get out to Stora Kinäs (written by Jonatan in a Facebook group). You can also do a Google Maps search with "54.3484 16.1263" (the coordinates of the location.

Stora Kinäs Gård is a remote location. So remote, in fact, that the address doesn't even pop up in Google Maps or iPhone's maps.
When you go there, you can go there from two directions.
Driving from Linköping & South of Sweden
If you approach from the south of Sweden, from Gothenburg etc, you will go via Linköping. Then from Linköping you can set the gps to Björsäter. That's the closest little village from that direction.
Once in Björsäter there is a convenience store; "Tempo". At the 4-way crossing turn left so you have Tempo on your left hand side. You arrive at a road sign that says "Ringarum" to the right. Take that right and continue for about 2 km.
You then come to a very sharp turn (45 degree angle) where a roadsign says "Ö Ryd". Turn sharply left and then continue for about 8 kilometers. Then you are at Stora Kinäs Gård!

Driving from Norrköping & North of Sweden
If you come from the north of Sweden, Stockholm you will go via Norrköping. From Norrköping, set the gps to "Östra Ryd", the closest village. Once you get to Östra Ryd you will have a gas station and a small convenience store on your right hand side. Just keep going straight and continue out of Östra Ryd and the road will be increasingly smaller and more winding. Really you just follow the road for 10 km, but at two points what counts as "straight ahead" is not crystal clear ... so:
First time is where you could take a right and go to Höversby. Don't do that. God knows what's in Höversby. If you keep on going straight it feels like you're gonna drive right into a little red cottage, but fear not, the road continues to the left of the house.
Second time is where it says "Björsäter" and points to the left. This still counts as going straight, as both going straight or turning right actually takes you off the road and onto private property.
Keep going after the Björsäter sign for about 2 km until you see the monastery!
